Head of Finance

Established Business seeks a Head of Finance / Industry

£40,000 to £50,000 / Belfast .

My client is a well established owner managed services business with an increasing NI market share. Due to this growth they are currently in the market to recruit a commercial driven accountant to lead the finance function and support the current management team with strategic direction and growing the business further.

This is a critical role within the business and will report to director level, it will involve the complete responsibility for all the financial affairs of the business, which will include:-

• The production of monthly management / statutory accounts and key management performance information.
• The complete ownership of the budgeting and forecasting processes
• Management of the finance team of 4
• The ongoing analysis of cost saving / profit improvement initiatives
• The ongoing analysis of financial controls and financial systems

The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACA) with at least 3/ 4 years post qualified experience and previous experience as a number one in finance, of a successful business. You will have a proven track record both producing accurate financial information and displaying commercial awareness in a competitive market.

The role will suit a confident finance professional with strong interpersonal and influencing skills and a strong commercial outlook.
