Commercial Accountant

Global Business seeks a Commercial Accountant / Industry

£40,000 + benefits / Antrim.

Our client is a stable global business services organisation with strong growth predicted over the next 5 years. Due to this growth the organisation is currently in the market to recruit a dynamic commercially driven Accountant to head up one of the key business units.

As the Commercial Accountant you will report to the Finance Director and operational Directors having full responsibility for all accounting issues. The role will involve:-
· Identifying, developing and implementing financial system changes focusing on process improvement and improved profitability
· Benchmarking profitability and assisting operational Directors with improving the financial performance
· Identifying areas for improvement in performance, via cost reduction / efficiency improvements
· Overall responsibility for the budget and profit and loss forecasts
· To review and challenge projected operational / sales performance
· Managing sales ledger and debt collection issues with colleagues in Accounts Receivable / Credit Control
· Participation in special projects when needed

The suitable candidate will be a Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACMA or CIMA) with at least 3 + year’s post qualified experience within industry. You will be a confident finance professional with a proven track record of delivering financial solutions in a fast paced commercial environment. To be considered candidates must have excellent Excel skills with a working understanding of financial modelling and an exposure to ERP systems.
